Fishing is the most popular pastime for the summer guests at the Kabetogama/Voyageurs Nat'l Park area.
There are 5 major lakes in the park, each with 1000's of acres of clean, cool water.
These lakes host rugged shorelines with many calm bays, occasional sand beaches, rocky points and many islands.
THERE ARE NO MOTOR RESTRICTIONS for boaters who can travel along the remote 50 mile long system of lakes.
Anglers fishing Voyageurs Nat'l Park will find walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass, sturgeon & crappie.
Try one of the parks interior lakes for lake trout, northern pike, crappie largemouth bass & muskie.
At Pokorny's, we rent boats & motors, stock minnows, night crawlers & leeches & a assortment of tackle.
Gasoline is available at the docks. Fillet service is also available.
Fish fillet, wrapping and freezing is $1.00 per fish.
We will only freeze the fish we clean.
We have a fish packers license which stipulate that rule.
